I am currently a clinical professor at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, an associate professor at the University of Illinois and have held faculty positions at the University of Texas and Texas A&M.
In 2011 I authored High Yield Emergency Medicine, training doctors on the standard of care. The book was later accepted into the Library of Congress as a leading medical textbook and is now considered a standard text in the field.
In addition to my work as a professor, I have authored over 50 publications and routinely travel across the country to teach the Emergency Medicine Written Board Examination review curriculum I developed. This curriculum has led two medical centers to achieve #1 scores in the nation among 140 residency programs.
